Providing Skills for Independent Living at Sekolah Semangat Maju, Ipoh

2nd December 2011,  Sekolah Semangat Maju, Ipoh is a school set up to teach children, who are slow learners, how to live independently by teaching them  basic cooking, cleaning and living skills. 

The Hong Leong Foundation made a donation of  RM31,465.00 for a domestic science room and to purchase equipment such as washing machine, cooker, stoves, refrigerator etc.

This room will be ready to be used when the school reopens in January 2012.
