Hong Leong Group responds to calls for assistance to communities affected by natural calamities.  The Group wasted no time in extending financial assistance to the victims of the 2005 Asian tsunami.  More recently, the southern part of Malaysia was inundated with flood waters leaving thousands of families without homes and basic necessities.  Apart from the Foundation’s cash donation, Hong Leong Bank also donated to the Johor communities basic necessities. 

Statistics:  Since 2005, the Foundation donated over RM5 million towards the end.
